Configuration Parameters for ISAPI DLLs

For storing site specific configuration parameters, I stole the concept of the web.config file from ASP.Net. You must create a web.config file in the same directory as web.dll. The web.config file is a simple XML file containing all configurable parameters for the web interface DLL. It needs to look like this:

<?xml version=’1.0′ encoding=’utf-8′?>

<web_config>

<trace_dir>c:\tmp</trace_dir>

<company_id>WW</company_id>

<db_user_id>sysdba</db_user_id>

<db_password>lissik</db_password>

</web_config>

trace_dir is the directory which will hold the trace files

company_id is the company that will be used to look up the database path information from the multi-company configuration, if it is installed. If it is not, this parameter is ignored and the database is taken from the default path information in the registry.

db_user_id is the Firebird user id

db_password is the Firebird password
